Quite frankly I have no idea how long the Clare Irish Festival has been in existence, but I can tell ya one thing, it doesn't matter. The fact is it's happening again and runs from March 14th-18th. They even threw in the day after as an encore. OK, here's the deal. Irish or not, this IS the place to be this and every St. Patty's Day. Fun for the whole family too. As reported in the Irish web for Clare, MI: Fun and frivolity abound in March with Clare’s four day Irish Festival extravaganza! From Leprechaun contests and parades to Irish dancing and musical performances, be prepared to immerse yourself in the finest Irish traditions at the Annual Clare Irish Festival. A 5k run, bed race, and oooohh a craft show, along with a parade. But I suppose for those who aren't into all that, the Clare bar scene will be jumping so you can feel Irish today, hungover tomorrow. O'Please be a smart cookie when drinking and let the sober ones take you home. Cheers!
